Unfortunately, social media was flooded with misleading images claiming to show the elephant injured in the crash. These images were later proven fake, as they were of an elephant from a different accident in India. Additionally, some fake news about his health also circulated, prompting his wife to clarify that Anthony's condition was improving.

The recent shooting incident involving Sri Lankan singer K. Sujeewa has generated significant attention and concern. The event occurred on July 7, 2024, during the opening of a tattoo studio in Athurugiriya, where Sujeewa was among several individuals who were injured in the attack. Two individuals, including a prominent figure known as 'Club Wasantha,' were killed in the shooting, which reportedly involved two assailants armed with T56 rifles.
